In exciting news from Seattle overnight it has been announced by Search Engine Land that Rocket is a finalist in the 2018 Search Engine Land Awards!
This short-listed campaign run by the Rocket SEO team on behalf of Jamesons Strata Management demonstrates the significant role SEO can play on a comprehensive digital strategy.
Rocket’s Head of Marketing, James Lawrence, commented: “this is fantastic news and a testament to the results that a strong client-agency relationship can deliver.

The winners will be announced at the Search Engine Land Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, June 12, 2018, in Seattle, USA. The event is being held at the Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP).
The campaign in question is a finalist in the Best Overall SEO Initiative – Small Business category of this year’s awards. According to Search Engine Land this category:
“recognizes the best program by internal and/or external resources, including agency or consultant services to improve organic SEO efforts for small to medium-sized organisations/websites through improvement of technical elements, on-page content and off-page factors.
As a rough guideline, judges will take into consideration a) company size (<100 employees)”
About the Campaign
Jamesons Strata Management is a long-standing client with Rocket Agency.
Founded in 1963, Jamesons is a family-run business that provides a range of strata management services across Sydney, Australia. They now have 6 offices and over 40 staff, continuing to grow.
The business objectives for the SEO campaign in question were two-prong; firstly, on growing the number of proposals to manage new strata properties, and secondly to grow brand presence in the local market with the end goal of expanding across Australia.
Across 2017 and early 2018, Jamesons has grown their physical presence to a total of six Sydney Offices. This opened an opportunity for Rocket to run an aggressive local SEO campaign for the new (as well as existing) Jamesons locations.
Specifically speaking to the SEO strategies implemented, Rocket devised a content-led strategy with the additional focus on Jamesons’ local listings and mobile platform. The result of SEO improvements has been a large uptick in the number of successful monthly strata proposals closed by Jamesons.
